Community meetings, 2002: In 2002, the Stand Up For Education coalition held 10 hugely successful community meetings around the state to share information about problems caused by inadequate state funding of education. Voter education, 2002: During the 2002 campaign
season, the Stand Up For Education coalition brought Montana voters
a crucial message: "All candidates say they support education.
Some do. Some don't. Vote carefully." The coalition used radio
spots and billboards around the state to get the nonpartisan message

Rallies 2003: Thousands of Montanans attended nine
regional Stand Up For Education rallies during the Montana legislative
session in 2003. Their message was powerful and consistent: Montana's
public schools and universities need adequate state funding! Read

Cookbook presentations 2004 & 2005: Dozens of Stand
Up For Education coalition members have given 20-minute presentations
to thousands of Montanans around the state using the SUFE video
and materials. These presentations continue today, educating more
and more Montanans about education funding issues, pre-school through
grad school.
Voter education, 2004: Stand Up For Education again ran
nonpartisan radio and newspaper ads encouraging voters to vote carefully.
